Senior Class Prophecy The fog is thinning out and I can see each star in the class of 1960 in its chosen profession. The clouds lift, the world brightens and each face shows clear. I see John “Crazy Legs” Collins has organized his own basketball team after being rejected by the Alfonzo Staten Globetrotters. Being able to hold down only one position on the team, John has recruited Clarence Weeks, James Nottingham and Calvin Jarvis, Coach. Now I see that Shirley Sample, who after a marriage failure to the famous John Collins, has formed a partnership with John Fields. They plan to dance their way into the hearts of millions. Georgia Spady and Albert Wright, who were voted the best couple by the senior class, have been voted the worst couple by the ten little Wright’s. Constant arguing has put Mrs. Wright’s nerves on edge and she has been forced to see the country’s top authority on nerves, Dr. Edward White. Not only is Edward a neurologist ofgreat renown, but he is also a model agent. His agency is the home for many beautiful girls. Those from Old N.C.H.S. are Christine Brooks, Willie Mae Bell, Annette Satchell, Albertine and Louise Treherne. My, my, my, here stands Theodore Johnson “Before the Bar of Justice’’. It is his desire to expound upon the innocence of James Coles, alias “Pearl Willoughby’’. Well finally Alfred Dunton and Maisie Williams have tied the knot. Having decided between Alfred Dunton and Robert Jackson, Maisie decided on Alfred Dunton because of his great wealth. What a surprise it was to see Myrtis Ames still unmarried. She has opened an old maids’ home for old bachelors. Wait! Who do I see toddling down the road of life towards me? Winston and Marion Notting¬ ham, French Book in one hand, trigonometry in the other hand, giving a speech to convince on, “It’s Better to be Intelligent and Poor Than Dumb and Rich.’’ Ruth Rogers was so taken by French in High School that she is now touring France with Annie Marie Allen to convince more Frenchmen to speak French. My! Here is another footprint on the sands of time. And this number 9 1 2 belongs to Catherine Arnold. To prove that Catherine not only has brains and beauty, but bronze as well, she has chosen the woman wrestler most likely to succeed. In the meantime Norman Smith, who was noted for his mouth moves and waxed grooves, is being divorced for the fifth time. This time from Viola Beckett, who insists that his grooves are too waxed and moves are too smooth. Frances Bibbins, noted in the class of 60 for being the sorriest girl in the senior class, has become rich. She recorded a rock and roll record which sold 10, 000, 000, 000 copies. Her next record will be “Who’s Sorry Now?’’. Juanita Shockley, Delores Nottingham, Betty Carter, Ella Mapp and Gloria Wynder, former members of N.C.H.S. Girls Basketball Team, have formed a cheering squad to cheer John Collins’ team on to victory. Members ofthe men’s choral group to sing in Carnegie Hall are: David Elder, Jessie Fender- son, James Smith, Robert Harris, Curtis Beech, William Jones and Robert Harmon. A Poet of great renown is Edward Parker. Mildred Upshur, Miss Personality in the class of 60, is now on Broadway. Also in the Broad¬ way production are: Maggie Heath, Anna Francis, Lawrence Satchell, Violet Spady and Earnest Richardson. Alas! We have come to the Palace Theater, where Shirley Spady is appearing. She is being accompanied by the all-time great combo. The Counti-Aires, consisting of Curley .Smith, Ernest Holbrook, Cecil Baines, Thomas Weeks and Milton Stewart. Johnnie Mapp and Helen Gunter have joined in Holy Matrimony and are now residing on a mink farm. Their hired hands are: Alvin Stanley, Thomas Collins, Joyce Smaw and Bill Jackson. The purple dusk of the twilight hours is creeping, but through it I see Helen Morris and Karey Rowley. It seems incredible, but Helen has lost 110 pounds only to have them transferred to Karey, who now weiglis 340 pounds. The fog thickens again. It is impossible to see. I-I-I’m growing sleepy. I must sleep now and return next year. Frances Bibbins
