The council’s 37 members have set up the following objectives: 1. To purchase Student Council Buttons for each member 2. To attend the District and State Student Council meetings 3. To make it our campaign to ask the student body for a donation towards the athletic field bleachers The officers for 1959-60 are as follows: John V. Collins, President; Margaret K. Helm, Vice-President; Ellen Goodwyn, Secretary; Shirley Sample, Assistant Secretary; Ruth Rogers, Treasurer; Rosa Powell, Reporter; Cora Upshur, Chaplain; Mr. Odis Kornegay, Advisor. To the Graduating Class of 1960, we extend our congratulations for having reached your second education goal. Continue to climb the ladder of success.
