Sometimes these problems are overcome and other times they destroy the friendship. In a boy-girl relationship problems arise when they begin to date. As they date, the boy or the girl may become possessive and angered by contrasting opinions. Eventually, the dating ends and the friendship fades. Being involved in a boy-girl relationship allows you to get a point of view from the opposite sex. The only problem arises when you become too close and want to be more than friends,” said Stacey Nonnemacher. When your best friend is your sister, such as with Sandi Allen and Maud Pritchard, people think problems always arise. But, the fact that the two people see each other makes it hard to hold a grudge. “Every type of friendship has problems but with a little patience and understanding they can be overcome,” said Pritchard.
