This does not mean that this is an autonomous body because each board member may be approached' by the adults 8 of the community with complaints, criticisms, and requests. The board member then reports the problems to the superintendent who investigates the situation and reports on his tiridings at a later meeting where they are discussed and voted on if necessary. Finally, once a decision has been made it is the job ot administrators, teachers, and other school personnel to enforce these decisions.

Albert L. Henry Superintendent of Schools As superintendent of the school district, Mr. Henry keeps a watchful eye on all affairs pertaining to the Northampton Schools. His outstanding capabilities and interesting ideas in administration work have added to the progressive educational facilities of Northampton High. Robert E. Mushrush Principal Though a newcomer to our school, Mr. Mushrush, as our new principal, has given us numerous ideas which have benefited the students tremendously. We feel con- fident that he will perform his duties well, handle his responsibilities excellently, and lead the seniors superbly. David G. Olson Assistant Superintendent of Schools Exuberance marks Mr. Olson as the man of the school. Cheerful and charming, he keeps his task of supervising the school under control by formulating programs to aid the needs of every student in the district. He believes in the expression of talent and the use of each student's poten- tial. V Alfred A. Laubach Administrative Assistant As the man of the students, Mr. Laubach devotes most of his time to achieve his goal of understanding. Uncomplaining, he does his work with cheerfulness and a unique sense of humor that keeps every- one smiling. Through him the students have been given the chance to voice their opinions and many of their problems. l
