Leroy C. Brobst Northampton Academic Leo thrives on fun and likes to be wherever something's happen- ing. His mellow voice undeniably enhances the chorus, boys octet - all our vocal groups - and his speed is iust as important to the track team. Leo wants a B.S. and a career in mathematics. Activities: Mixed Chorus i, 2, 3, Boys Octet i, 2, 3, Vespers l, 2, 3, Spring Concert l, 2, 3, Band l, Mixed Ensemble 2, 3, N Club 3, Senior Class Play 3, Track i, 2, 3, District and Regional Chorus 2, 3. .,,,. - , Ronald Cimino Northampton General Skinny is easily recognizable, he wears the longest, blackest hair and the tightest pants of any- one in the school, and exhibits all the usual attributes that go with these. He goes for hunting, swim- ming, cars, and hanging 'round Harhart's gas station. He might go for the Marines or hanging from a parachute. . For lzislory's clock of lime is golden Glen L. Chamberlain Lehigh Township Academic Wham! There goes another pin for our heavy 103-pound Wilt. Although personal effort goes into his wrestling, he's an avid fan of all sports. The only things he likes better are eating and mischief. It's the carefree life of the bachelor for Glen, girls make him quiet Activities: Wrestling l, 2, 3, Physi- cal Fitness Team 2. John M. Chimics Northampton Secretarial John is one of our nominees for reliability and trustworthiness, yet he appears to be the most carefree guy in the world. A member of the Trading Post gang, he also puts in a lot of time work- ing on his car. He wants to put in some more time - at business school. Activities: Football i, 2, 3. page Veronica R. Chimarys Northampton Secretarial Blonde, brown-eyed, and burst- ing with energy, Beanie's one of our keeni-est classmates. ln the gym, Beanie's a Queenie - the belle of the balance beam, no less. Hillside, being a lifeguard at the pool, and basketball ring bells too. So do her own typewriter, desk, and office. Activities: Art Exhibit 2, Gym Ex- hibition 2, 3, Physical Fitness Team 3. Connie Christman Moore Township Academic Connie is energy personified, with a lot of capability added - and perhaps a bit of caprice as well. She tackles everything with the zest of a zealot, even driv- ing her '39 Plymouth, dislikes egotisfs and dentists, but admits there's a difference. When she grabs life by the coattails, look out! Activities: Chorus i, Vespers I, Spring Concert i, German Club i, lntramurals l, N Club 2, 3, Debat- ing Club 2, Amptennian 3. 30 Daniel Butz Bath Academic Smiling, energetic, ready to do more than his share - these attri- butes characterize Butzie. He devotes hours and hours to school activities and to his church's youth group. Danny's goal is more school - to maior in music or religion. Coleman Northampton industrial Arts There's no stouter yeoman than Barnyard, this bowman. He's a sports lover, but archery ove draws them all. John Borbacs Lehigh Township Academic Remember the day of the quiet, iligent student? John's a hold- ver. He's also an ardent fan of unting, fishing, and the great ut-of-doors. Judy Berger Bath Secretarial Giggles and twinkling eyes por- tend Judy and her pranks. This class clown forces everyone to laugh at sports events, Hillside, even her team mates on the hoc- key field. Dancing and water ski- ing are no exception. We expect Judy'll laugh her way through life as a practical nurse. Activities: Tri-Hi-Y 2: Hockey 3. Patsy A. Bowman Danielsville Secretarial Where there's laughter and talk- ing, here you'll find cute, petite Pat. Full of pep and always on the bounce, she's either bouncing on skates, bouncing with the Gym Team, bouncing on horseback, or bouncing to DeeVille. Bill has fun everywhere - at Hillside or on the black Honda heading for Sam's Cities Service station. Now he's headed for col- lege and marine biology. She doesn't walk, she whizzes, whether to the library, Ampten- nian, through books and conver- sation - even the pool - yes, the car, too, She's all geared up to whiz through college as a history maior. Not only is he an all-around sportsman - being a shifty left guard and a spooky third base- man - he's a good sport as well. His hobby?
