A Message For most of us it has been a long, hard, twelve years. We have been waiting in great anticipation for June 9, 1965, and graduation. Now that the time has iust about come, though, the anticipa- tion has been succeeded by a twinge of sorrow because we are about to lose our second home. A number of us have been together since first grade, others since seventh, and some for iust one or two years. Regardless of how long we've been together, though, I feel we are a closely- knit class which has worked well together and has accomplished much. Many of us have created warm friendships that will stay with us through- out our lives. Others of us may never see each other again, but one thing for sure, we will never forget our days at Northampton High. For some of us June marks the end of our for- ' 5 fo page 25 BLACK and GOLD fhe Seniors: mal education and the start of a lifetime of work at a job or iobs. For others it may be the begin- ning of a career in the service, or a summer of relaxation - then four or more years in college, beginning in September. No matter where our future endeavors take us, though, or whatever we do, we will constantly have to rely on our high school education to carry us through. To you, fellow members of the Senior Class, I bid a fond farewell and a sincere thanks for all your efforts to make our Senior days happy and prosperous. May all of your future endeavors be successful, fruitful, and filled with happiness. Gregg Amore President Senior class
