U 66920 new nod ' F aux 70416, mt In the 1984 Madison County Fair, the showmen who participated did excellent in their respective classes and divisions. Among the awards received were two Grand Champions and one Reserve Grand Champion. There were also many other participants who won high places in the different shows. In the fryer division Chip Nelson won Reserve Grand Champion, Bobby Sue Homer won 3rd place, Angela Williams won 5th place, Bruce Theiss won 6th place, Wendell Mosley won 11th place, and Iennifer Carter won 12th place. Among those who raised fryers but didn't make the sale are Bobby lack Grisham and Cindy May. In the lamb division Becky Diserens won Grand Champion, Derral Richards placed 4th in his class, Kellie Walther place 4th in her class, Kriss Schiller placed 7th, and Tammy McWhorter placed 10th in her class. In the steer division Carrie Davidson won 5th place in her class, Lorne Theiss won 3rd place in his class, Bruce Thiess won 1st place in his class, Shane Boyd placed 5th in his class, and Mark McWhorter placed 7th in his class. , In the Broiler division nobody made the sale but the exhibitors did an outstanding job in showing their birds. Among those showing broilers were Lisa I-Iibbetts, Gene Ann Krohn, Donald May, Chip Nelson, Travis Hibbetts, Linda Gray, and Kevin Boyd. In the swine show Alan Andrus won Grand Champion, Wendell Mosley won 3rd place, Shane Boyd won 1st place, Robert Edie won 14th place, Lee Ann Busa won 6th place, Karla Connor won 5th place, Ierry Ben- nett won 9th place, Kevin Boyd won 3rd place, Shane Holdridge won 8th place, Christi Stark won 2nd place, and Melissa Carter won 12th place. In the heifer show Alan Andrus won Reserve Champions and 2nd place, Anissa McGill won 4th place in the commercial show, Mike Bradford won 5th place, Kristen Brandon won 7th place in the commercial show, Wendy Lawson won Reserve Grand Champion in the show, David Lawson won 9th place, and Donald May won 3rd place in the commercial show. Special recognition should be given to Derral Richards who won the hog showmanship contest held after the hog show. CONGRATULATIONS EXHIBITORS!!!
