History The class of I937 mef on Sepfember 27, I934, for fhe purpose of elecfing officers. The final resulfs of fhe elecfion were: Jay Snyder, presidenf: June Sfririe, vice pres- idenfg and Romaine Hoffman, secrefary. Edna Hoffman occupies fhe office of freasurer for fhe four-year organizafion of fhe class. On January I6, I935, fhe class convened fo selecf and order emblems, pennanfs, hafs and caps in fhe class colors, brown and gold. Again, on Sepfember 24, I935, fhe class, now fhe iunior class, held a meefing. Af fhis fime officers for fhe year were elecfed. The resulfs were: Jay Snyder, pres- idenfy lenn Franfz, vice-presidenfg and Marie Spangler, secrefary. Under fhe direcfion of Mr. Everharf, rhe class play, The lvlasgueraderf' was very successfully presenfed on February 28 and 29, I936. Thus fhe imporfanf evenfs and rneefings of fhe class of 1937 are broughf fo an end. The nexf move for fhe flighfy juniors will be fhe sfep info fhe lasf year of fheir high school, when fhey will become dignified seniors.

So ended The TirsT year. Though seemingly unimporTanT, This TirsT year well served as a ToundaTion upon which To build The remaining high school career. ReTurning in The Tall oT 1935, The ranl4s oT The class oT '38 were reduced. SepTem- ber 25, The class meT To choose oTTicers and have a general discussion perTaining To The sophomore bazaar, The main evenT oT The second year oT high school liTe.
