Beginning the yeor with only one storter bock from the preceeding yeor, the en- thusiostic Potriots ended with on im- pressive fifteen - nine record. Their new cooch, Mr. Ducotte, hod no post experience with the Potriots. This lock of experience hod no beoring on Cooch Ducotte. He gove the boys confidence, through his high spirited confident woys. As lost yeor's leogue record ended in two ond six, the Patriots reversed themselves to o six win, two loss finol record this yeor. The boys ployed hord in oll gomes. Team Overcomes Inexperlence Young, inexperienced, hardworking. All of these can be used to describe this yeor's girls' basketball team. With only two returning varsity letter- winners, coach Wieboldt had a lot of work ahead of him, being a first year varsity coach himself. The girls worked hard, and in the end pulled out an 11-11 record which was very impressive. Even though there wosn't a definite person to fill the fifth starting position. However, the Pats did go to the states, but a very experienced Bayley Ellord was able to come out on top. The highlight ofthe season was a victory over Belvidere at home 28-27, after losing by SO points, the first game. The girls were really proud of this victory and proved not only to themselves but to everyone else that pride and hardwork bring together a winning season. Good luck to next yeor's team. GERHARD WOYZICHOWSKY MASAYO YAMAUCHI June 1982 To the Closs of 82, As your high school yeors drow to o close, you will begin to look to your future. During the lost four yeors you should hove developed the obility to define your gools ond the personol quolities necessory to sustoin o drive to reoch them. Only time will tell if you hove been successful in these oreos. On o more personol level, l feel closer to the Closs of '82 thon ony other group in this school. Since my yeors os othletic director coincide with your high school yeors, l feel I hove been oble to get to know more of the members of this closs through the clossroom ond less-formol otmosphere of the othletic octivities than with ony other closs in the post. You hove been witness to o greot mony chonges here ot North Worren ond I honestly feel thot these chonges hove gone o long woy toword moking your high school doys more pleosont ond rewording. To foll bock on othletic terminology, it is olwoys best to go out os o winner. Since this is my lost yeor os senior closs odvisor I definitely feel l om living up to this gool. For your closs is indeed o winner ond l con think of no finer group of young' people to end my yeors os o closs odvisor. Good Luck N' T . .
