We, the Seniors of Pottersville, dedi- cate our yearbook to an individual who has earned our friendship and admiration over the past six years. He has guided us through our many conflicts, but has always urged us to do things on our own - the way we felt was right. He has brought out the best in us. We can never completely repay the time and encouragement he has given us. We hope that this dedication, will, in some small way, show our appreciation to Mr. Richard Kahn. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kahn The Chestertown Class of '74 would like to dedicate this book to the success of North Warren High School. We wish the faculty and future students of the new high school much luck, but we feel that the first class to graduate from North Warren at Chestertown will always be the best. 2 ADMINISTRATION FACULTY District Principal MR. If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer, Let him step to the music which he hears, how- ever measured or far away. 16 Blessed is the man who, having noth- ing to say, abstains from giving in words in evidence of the fact. 17 Never fear that your life will come to an end, rather fear it has no beginning. Diane Thompson leaves her secretarial ability to Roxie Mason. Jeff Thompson leaves Nancy his locker to enjoy and cherish for one more year. He also leaves his unused talking time in study hall to anyone who enjoys conversation. He leaves the dirt in this school to the Kindergarden to make an enlarged sand box. Carole Troisi leaves her seat on the bus to and from games to Jane, her tennis game to Tina in hopes that she can beat Ray, her height to Curt, Hawkeye wipeouts to Chris, and she leaves Terray and Math class. .. gladly! Cindy Trushaw leaves Public Speaking class to Mort, with confidence that he will brighten up Mrs. Magee's after- noon as we did this year; her cheerleading soda to Sue H. and Carol M. (it must be pretty well aged by now!) and all her old Physics tests to anyone stupid enough to copy them. Mary Jane Van Quilder leaves her boisterous discussions with Mr. Kyrk to Lillian Shaw. Rachel Wallace leaves shop class to Clod, Mr. Ross and his business classes to Barb S. , and the long, unforget- table BOCES bus ride to Linda B. John West leaves his still to Scott Whitney. Terray Wood leaves his locker to anyone who can get it cleaned out and his Triumph to anyone who can keep it running. Kathy Woods leaves Mr. Willets a copy of The Senuous Man . Back Row: K. Although the weather was cloudy and cool, we made our first victory. We beat Hague with a score of 2 to 0. Even though the boys hadn't had too much practice, since this game was played on Sept. 24th, they did a find job. On Sept. 27th, a clear and warm day, the Bulldogs played at Pottersville with a score of 2 to 0. This was our second win of the season. Little did we know then, that there would be many more to come. For our next victory, we played on home ground again. Long Lake came way down here only to find that we were too much for them. We beat them with a score of 4 to 2. This was played on Sept. 29th. Three wins in 6 days is not all that bad. Do you think so? Since our next game was played on Oct. 1st it is hard to tell if we won be- cause of our great team or the coming of a new month. Anyway, we beat Minerva with a score of 5 to 1. Not bad for a clear and warm day in October. Our first non-league game, we lost. Wells beat us with a low score of 1 to 0. This game was played on Oct. 2nd, the second of four straight games. Maybe the boys were saving their energy for the next two games because they were league games! Our next game was played on Oct. 3rd against Crown Point. Even though the weather was partly cloudy and warm our fighting team won with a final score of 4 to 2. This game was played on home ground. On Oct. 4th we had another home game against Keene Valley. Another victory for the fighting Bulldogs with a score of 3 to 2. Nice playing boys! Our next victory took us to the fields of Hague on Oct. 9th. The weather was clear and warm. Who knows maybe our boys have something going for them. Our final score was 2 to 1. On Oct. 11th we played Pottersville on home ground. Another victory of 3 to 2. On Oct. 13th we went to Long Lake. This game brought a defeat for our fighting Bulldogs. With a score of 2 to 0. The boys put alot into it with no success. Our trip to Minerva on Oct. 17th . brought us another victory against the fighting Irish. The final score was 4-1. Bad weather brought our team to another (one of the few) defeat on Oct. 18 against Keene Valley. The final score was 8-3. One was a successful penalty kick in third period of play. An awful way to end the season but our fighting team took a tie for first place with Long Lake. We are really proud of our trophy and team. 98 VARSITY BASKETBALL PLAYERS First Row: Jim Smith, Rob Monroe, Rick Smith.
