The address by Elmer Valo of the Philadelphia Athletics, and the lecture by Sasha Seimel, noted South American explorer and big game hunter, were a few of the highlights of the past year. This program trains the girls in the fundamentals all sports. However, not everything was rules and regulations, for folk danc- ing and modern dancing were also included in the schedule of this club. Mrs. Felver organized an intramural basketball schedule, and the enthusiasm and support of the junior high students made each game resemble a championship play-off.
