They sang at Home-School Night, the Christmas operetta, Home Tal- ent Night, Librarians' Meethgg Baccalaureate services, and Commencement. The Girls' Glee Club and a boys' octet entered the Forensic League Contest this year for the first time. Although there was no compe- tition in the girls' division, they received a high rating from the judges. The boys have high hopes of winning a prize next year. I 24

Guided by Mr. Nider and led by Joe Coyle, these boys have done much to improve the school by eliminating excessive noise and confusion in the halls.

H J BA ND The band is now boasting of 19 pieces. They will be ready for their first appearance for the Com encement Exercises. This band has long been hoped for and now is welcomed by everyone. om4.a'r'rA fl The operetta, Chonita , a colorful gypsy romance, was presented April 17 and 18.
