Cochran - Principal The worth of a school is measured not in dollars and cents, but in the achievements of its students, and in the quality of their subsequent participation in the social, economic, and civic life of their society. Thus, the ultimate and tru- est evaluation of North Union High School of the year 1970 cannot be made until long after its present occupants have departed. I have a pro- found belief in the basic abilities and social val- ues of the great majority of our students. To the class of 1970, I say that it has been good to have had you as a part of us; it has been professionally interesting to have participated in your sometimes falteringbut generally steady program toward maturity.
