OUR GUIDING HAND IN OUR LAST FOUR YEARS We, the graduating class of 1955 of North Union High School, dedicate this, our yearbook. to Mary Jo Reagan. Miss Reagan, a teacher in the Commercial department, has accomplished a great deal here at North Union by building up the commercial department into one of the district's finest. Her main objective is to send out into the business world secretaries and office workers of whom North Union can be proud. Because of the knowledge and skill with which she does her work. her classes have become more active and interesting. Anyone who has had the opportunity of work- ing with Miss Reagan will remember her for her sincerity. friendliness, and willingness to lend a helping hand at all times. It is with a great deal of pleasure, respect, and gratitude that we, the senior class, dedicate this hook to Miss Reagan, our friend and teacher. O MISS MARY JOAN REAGAN ' TEACHING TYPING . . ' . . . THE OF YOUR SCHOOL YEAR IN 55 RAYMOND E. CRAWFORD Yearbook Adviser Your yearbook staff has attempted to show by picture and tell in words as much as possible of the happenings of the 1954-55 school year. We realize that it is impossible to completely cover a year's events in a book of this size, so we hope that you will forgive us if we missed something which to you is a fond memory of school life. In our efforts to put into print something which will serve as a reminder of our happiest days, we have covered most of the events of the school year. Our year has been somewhat disrupted by the building program, so our usual club organizations have been curtailed. This has given the staff an op- portunity to expand the sports section as well as to increase the number of pages devoted to the under- classmen. One of the aims of the staff is to have every stu- dent included at least once in the yearbook, and, with the exception of a few freshmen who were absent when pictures were taken and some recent entrants, we have done sog thus the yearbook holds something of interest for everyone. Because of the large size of the yearbook staff, no member was burdened with work so we can truly say that this has been a pleasant experience. We hope you enjoy your book. 7
