Foreword 'To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. 'Beauty is truth, truth beauty - that is all ye know on earth and all ye need to know. 'They have learned nothing, and forgotten nothing. Now that is the wisdom of a man, in every instance of his labour, to hitch his wagon to a star, and see his chore done by the Gods themselves. The purpose of a yearbook is to provide us with apic- torial remembrance of the achievements, the disappoint- ments, the fun we had, and our own personal memories of a year gone by. We of the '68 Caprock hope that we not only fulfill this purpose, but yet another. We believe an annual should also serve as a tribute toward the institution of education. The years of preparation for a future to come are a memory in themselves, and that is why we of the an- nual staff of '68 dedicate this Foreword as well as our Cap- rock to the knowledge and education of man.
