This annual represents a written record during one year of your life in d North Toole County High School. If you are a Freshman, it represents the beginning quarter of your high school career. If you are a Senior, this book represents a living memorial of the activities of you and your friends during the final months of your high school education. To many, this book will constitute the only written record of your school life. As the years go by, it qwill become more and more valuable to you. We sincerely thank the Annual staff for a fine record of this span of our school life. Best Wishes, Hazen R. Lawson 34 fu.Q The theme of this Caprock is signs of the times, particularly road markers. The highway of life seems to me to be implied by this theme. As we travelled this highway together through 1966-1967, we encountered some sharp curves , rough roads , and slippery sections . On much of our journey, we traveled the smooth pavement of successful experience. Our miles were counted in pages read, assignments completed, games played, queens crowned, skills acquired, goals determined, friendships made, foundations laid, and many more such mileposts. As you, the Class of 1967, look back on your journey through life thus far, you will recall all the people who acted as your chauffers while you were limited by your own immaturity and experience. A Graduating seniors! I admonish you to check your vehicles, get your maps ready, watch those road signs, and have awonderful trip! Indeed, the time is here, the chauffers have stepped into the background, the light is green, and YOU ARE IN THE DRlVER'S SEAT! Sincerely, P.
