N CLASS 0F'5 ' . f u We are the freshmen who will graduate in l953. We organized and elected our class officers in January. We are proud of our class members, especially those on the honor roll and also those who have participated in other school activities. Some of these activ- ities were band, twirling, orchestra, glee clubs, yearbook staff and sports. Some of us as yet do not know all the faculty, but we are slowly becoming acquainted. Some of the highlights of our freshmen year were Joan Storey,s exceptionally high average on the second honor roll, our first assembly, our first interview with our class advisers, Miss Sager and Mr. O'Brieng our first football game, and also seeing our classmates out there on the Held leading cheers. We, the sophomore class of next year, will go on in- terested and determined. 28

William Holland spends his time maintaining an honor average and playing basketball. Joan Storey who is a leading honor student is also treasurer of the French Club. Harriett Carlson who is an honor student is also a twirler for our N.T.H.S. Band. Carol Soden, who is a member of the French Club too, spends some time at the Y.W.C.A. Sally Tomaszewski, who dreams to the music of Guy Lombardo, plans to be a secretary. Daniel Keefe, active in track and J.V. football, hopes to add D.D.S. to his name. Robert Reszel participated in band and Latin Club and plans to study further at UB. Robert Stolzenburg, seen in action in LV. football games, enjoys aeronautics. James Labushesky's pleasing personality has already won two presidencies for him. Charles O'Brien, who is an honor student, is extremely interested in basketball. Ardith Luther is an honor student and was a representative for the magazine drive. Roger Urban also held the oflice of secretary as a freshman and plays basketball. 27
