Lions Roar North Texas Junior High Denton, Texas 1966-1967 Volume XV Dedicated to Mrs. Virginia Cundiff for all her help in making the LION'S ROAR. LION'S ROAR Staff Table of Contents Faculty Elementary Junior High Activities Favorites Sports Advertising MR. J. L. BURKS, Principal Each school year is a new and exciting experience for each of us. We have the opportunity to resume close association in work and play with our old friends, and are privileged to make new ac- quaintances and to cultivate new and lasting friendships. The pictures and words recorded in the Lions Roar give to us a permanent record of students, of faculty, and of many of the ex- periences and activities that we shared together during this year. As the years come and go this annual will become increasingly meaningful and valuable to us. We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Lions Roar Staff, and to the faculty sponsors, for this excellent book. Much thought, planning, and hard work has been required and freely given by each one having a part in the publication. Each must have a deep feeling of pride and satisfaction in the fruits of his labor. Mrs. Marjorie Drennan, office secretary, helps Mr. Burks keep us on time, supplied with tests, and patched up when we have troubles. She also is in charge of lunch tickets for the cafeteria. Mrs. Drennan and Mr. Burks check some of the copying machines in the inner office. Student Council Officers 1 imaEs Sovish oy ; - a . BILL LOWRY ......................
