The faculty did win, but the ninth grade boys made them really work for that win. Miss Sparks leads the women teachers in an unforgettable yell. 84 One spring activity of last year that we just had to record was the faculty-ninth grade basketball game. The purpose was to welcome the seventh graders and all new students to our school. Everyone had a great time. Howdy Party Hallowe'en Party Fie! For shame! This combo, made by the art classes, added to the atmosphere m even though it produced no music. o Everyone tried to hit Mr. Hardaway's picture. Wonder why? Simon says, Pat your head! They've already said it, Kats! They won't play! Christmas Assembly The junior high choir and the elementary grades teamed talents to produce a most inspiring program for the Christ- mas assembly. Christmas Party Mr. Hardaway! Kathy and Martin have the real Christmas spirit. e'd like to.look at the girls' faces instead of Norman's and Bill's Favorites One of the many highlights of running for class favorites is the skits assembly. There were many clever and interesting skits this year, which made the favorites campaign one of the most exciting. Valentine Royalty, chosen by ballot of the egtire school, were Greg Dunham, seventh grade prince; Bill Lowry, eighth grade prince; Gary Morris, ninth grade prince; King Mike Redden; Queen Connie Crowley; Martha Stiff, ninth grade princess; Ann McClendon, eighth grade prin- cess; and Anne Jenson, seventh grade princess. Valentine Party 105 Spring Formal '65 The Spring Formal, given each year in honor of the ninth grade, is always well- attended by the entire school and their guests. oy Melody and Dolly Richardson showed us their talent with The House of the Rising Sun. Pam Asher and Bonnie Boyd sang and danced to Side by Side.
