DEDICATION S V JYWMvW'V S WWJNJA ou-5l77f'MM wlfffb i Dear Mr. Willmott, Since Freshman year, when you taught us the funda- mentals of General Science, until now-our Senior year -when you are ruler of Study Hall, we have looked to you not only as a teacher, but also as a friend. The way you keep us under control and let us have a good time too, commands the respect of all. The boys whom you have coached on the soccer, baseball, and basketball teams will remember your spirit and fire which pulled them through some tough spots. As an exacting task- master, you made not only your players, but also your students bring out the best in themselves. We will always be grateful. The Class of 1957 3 v in 'Y 7 fn 9 N . Led in the backfield by quarterback Frank Ballas, Reggie and Mel Effort and Bob Gazzola, the Horsemen had one of the strongest teams in the county. With Ted Eade, Rocco Minella and Richard Maceyak anchoring the line, we had a fine defense. Next year coach Millman will have to build up his team again because so many team members will graduate. It was the first undefeated team in Sleepy Hol- low history and came in third in the Section l meet. Lead by such greats as Paul Dra- hos, Louis Dapas, Bob Husted, Charles Roberto, Tom Elliot. Nils Nelson and Billy XVessel, the team rolled over all opposition. TRACK BASE Coach Raymond XYillmott's crew had a line season last year. Richard Lyden, ace pitcher, along with Stan Shaughnessy made up a very strong pitching staH. Catching was K. C. Smith, of football fame. Frank Ballas, Frank Adams, Pete Maraseo, and Ralph Maru were other mainstays of the team.
