The present Girls' Hi-Y Club was formed in 1942. Since then the club has grown and its activities expanded. Mrs. Hansen, our advisor, has given the girls her aid not only as an advisor, but as a friend to the girls. According to the Constitution of the club, there are twenty-five girls, ncluding sophomores through seniors. The girls learn how to work as well as play together. This year the club went to the Westchester Assem- bly in White Plains were each club presents a bill which it hopes will become a law. Later one of the girls went to the Albany Assembly to represent our club there. This spring the girls put on a cake sale for the March of Dimes Campaign. We gave 525.00 towards this drive. We hope to have a reunion ofthe Hi-Y Clubs from two years ago. However, above all, the club tries to bring its girls closer fellowship in God. Under the leadership of the new elected officers, the Boys' Hi-Y again undertook its program of recreation, fellowship, and education. The fall program was highlighted by the County Assembly where prac- tical experience in government was afforded the members. The club sent Fred Knieriem as its delegate to the State Assembly in the Capitol. The boys are now preparing for the annual Play Day to be held on February 22 at the Rye Y.M.C.A.
