Influenced by the wave of patriotism sweeping over the country, the class chose red, white, and blue for the class colors, United we stand, divided we fall for a class motto, and the American Beauty rose for the class flower. The industry of the class has been shown by the sale of Christmas cards and candy. Senioritis, a newspaper, was published and much praised, in particular the issue of April 1, proclaiming the dis- continuance of Regents.
