Under the direction of Mrs. Polchlopek and Mrs. Przelocki seventy-six girls eri- ioyed the activity of Softball. The teams went to Baldwinsville for a softball play day on June 4th. Twenty-nine girls received credit for this sport. BOWLING OFFICERS Beverly Schaap Mrs. Shuback, Advisors Beverly Polence Mary Ann Krause BOWLING The girls' bowling league was organized first semester by Mrs. Schuback with thirty-five mem- bers. Meetings were held each Wednesday afternoon at Bowling Green alleys and the team bowled in several tournaments, among which were Solvay and Penn-Van. ' I5I

C11 We went to Solvay on Tuesday, November 20th, Three schools participated in this play day. The scores were: Lost, North Syracuse 10-Minoa 12, Minoa 15-Solvay 5, Won, North Syracuse 13, Solvay 5, f21 Wednesday, December 5, 1956, Liverpool and Solvay came to North Syracuse. Liverpool A won over Solvay A by eight points. North Syracuse A won over Liverpool by a large margin. North Syracuse B lost to Solvay A by one point. Refreshments were served in the home- making department by the North Syracuse girls. l31 Ori December 17, 1956, West Genesee and Fayetteville-Manlius came to North Syracuse. Won: North Syracuse A 36, West Genesee A 35, Lost: North Syracuse B 21, Fayetteville B 32, Won: North Syracuse B 14, West Genesee B 6. Refreshments were served after the games in the homemaking department. , C41 Wednesday, December 19, 1956, our teams went to a play day at West Genesee. Won: North Syracuse A 28, Solvay A 10, Lost: North Syracuse B 12, Baldwinsville B 14, Lost: North Syracuse A 17, Baldwinsville A 265 Won: North Syracuse B 15, Solvay B 7. The Drill Team is a new organization formed this fall by Mrs. Shuback. Everyone was urged to try out and forty-nine girls were finally selected. Voumard, M Stever. GIRLS' BASKETBALL The basketball schedule this year involved many of the county schools. The girls met with Solvay, West Genesee, Fayetteville-Manlius, Baldwinsville, and others. The four teams under the supervision of Mrs. Ebbins, played both home and away games and enjoyed a successful season. SOCCER In the fall of the year the girls' soccer team, under the supervision of Mrs. Ebbin, played against Solvay and Liverpool High Schools. The two teams combined under The name of Sliverpool and although our team was not victorious, the game was enjoyed by all and refreshments were served after- wards. First row, left to right: F.
