The F.H.A. has been organized since 1946 and the birthday of this organization is in June. The purpose of this club is to share and enioy the responsibilities and leadership in the home, school, and community, also to respect and accept the family as the most important unit of our society. The sponsor of this club is Miss McMahon. The Future Homemakers hold several dances co-sponsored with the F.F.A. during the year. Each tall and spring the F.H.A. attends the district rallies. Each year the boys hold a Father and Son Banquet, and also take educational trips for agricultural purposes. This year the boys held their banquet December 6, 1956. Also, high on the list of achievements, the North Syracuse F.F.A. placed very well in the Class Demonstration Con- test this year. This organization is headed by Mr. Watson. l26
