The community was honored by the presence of the United States Commissioner of Education, Dr. Samuel Miller Brownell, guest speaker for the evening. Members of the Board of Education, administrators and faculty of our school, our representatives from abroad, and those who had a part in the establishment of the new Junior-Senior High School assembled for the solemn but colorful ceremony. The dedication was a truly historic event, one at which was shown a marvelous display of teamwork, an outstanding characteristic of the North Syracuse Central School System. I 4
