principals of the district. education. MR. EARL ASSELSTINE Mr. Asselstine has been a pioneer in the development and organiza- tion of the North Syracuse School system. During his thirty-three years of service he has done a great deal to improve educational facilities. His wisdom and forsight keep us abreast of the modern trends in education. Recently, Mr. Asselstine was the recipient of a citation for thirty-two years service as District Superintendent. This certainly is fitting recogni- tion for a man who has contributed so much to our school system. To you, Mr. Asselstine, the class of 54 renders a sincere note of gratitude. CLARENCE ROBBINS As principal of our school, Mr. Robbins portrays a vital roll in the supervision of the students, directing their program of study and activity.
