The purpose of the club is to teach rural leadership, sportsmanship, co-operation, scholarship, thrift, and patriotism. The F.F.A. has been organized since 1935. This club co-sponsors dances with the Future Homemakers ot America. The F.F.A. has a basketball team, which won the Eastern Championship of Onondaga County. An annual event sponsored by the F.F.A. is the Father-Son Banquet. 111

Apple, C Riccelli. ,N WHAT'S NEXT ON THE AGENDA? 113 Organized in 1939, the Athletic As- sociation is now sponsored by Mr. Hall, Miss Tucker and Mr. Tucci. This organization aims to supervise and co-ordinate all recreational and athletic activities of the North Syracuse Central Schools. An annual event sponsored by the A.A. is the Block letter Banquet at which letters are presented to both boys and girls lor participation in sports. The A.A. also manages all ticket sales at home games as well as the sponsorship of record dances after home basketball games.
