We would like to focus specifically on our new pride, our new headmaster, new form of discipline, new teachers, new ideas, new facilities and equipment, new students, and - of course - the new beginnings that every graduate and student should be experiencing here at North State. We know that these - NEW HORIZONS - will bring about a change for the better so that we may look back at the year 1985 as that first step into a bright future. The senior class would like to dedicate the 1984-85 yearbook to a special person - one who always has a smile and a lot of encouragement for everyone. Her dedication and devotion go far beyond the boundaries of the classroom, and she is always willing to help with students' concerns. We thank you, Mrs. Evelyn McNeely.
