‘For The First Time’’ The Gymnastic Team posted a winning season losing only one dual meet. School records were broken by Stephanie Hornung in all-around and balance beam. The school record for the team score was broken at Regionals with a score of 97.40. North Stafford placed second in Districts, qualifying the entire team to Northwest Regionals “for the first time’ stated Coach Wendy Payne. Medialists winners were Lee Hoyle, 6th on bars; Stephanie Hornung, 6th all-around, 4th on beam, and 6th on bars; and Margaret Ervin, 4th on floor, 5th on vault, and 5th all-around. The team finished 4th in the Northwest Regional Meet; qualifying Stephanie Hornung on bars and beam for State Competition. This year’s team members selected Patricia Dow and Lee Hoyle as co-captains.
