No not real- ly, but I guess people know me because I'm a gymnast. DOES BEING IN SPORTS HINDER YOUR WEEKEND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: I don't do gymnastics over the weekend, but when I get really sore from weekday practice it makes the weekend kind of bad. DO YOU FEEL YOU WOULD DO BETTER ACADEMICALLY IF YOU DIDN'T PARTICIPATE IN GYM- NASTICS? Anything that takes up time offsets your grades. WHAT GOES THROUGH YOUR MIND WHEN YOU'RE IN MID-AIR AND ABOUT TO LAND ON YOUR HEAD? Fear - I think what a jerk I'm making of myself. And where did my spotter go HELP!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT WHEN YOU'RE COMPETING: Not killing myself!!! WHAT'S THE MOST EMBARRASSING THING YOU'VE EVER DONE? Getting a 0 on vault. DO YOU FEEL THERE IS TOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON WINNING? Yes every- one says STATE by my goal is to do my best and get a fair score. ARE YOU AWARE OF THE CROWD AND THE NOISE DURING COMPETITION? No, you con- centrate on what you're doing. Gymnasts do crazy things . . . like . . . Beth Ste- phenson's crazy beam routines . . . going to Cha- tooga on Sunday and drivhg 5 mph. on busy streets . . . having chinese tire drills at busy inter- sections . . . hanging out the window and singing the SPARTAN light song . . . stopping at McDonald's and acting like idiots . . . doing stunts so bad at practice that we spend the rest of prac- tice laughing until our stomaches hurt . . . Caren's crazy ardvark laugh . . . Laurie and her love life talks . . . Chan is always hyper . . . WE HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!!!! ... We're 1991 ...
