The Georgia Certificate of Merit is awarded to the top students in the junior class by the University of Georgia and the State of Georgia. Students who participate in the Governor's Honors Pro- gram spend an enlightening summer gaining knowledge in their field of study. The de- partments of the school nomi- nate students who excel in that particular subject area.
