Hatt, increased to more than fifty members. With almost twice as many members, their performances were twice as outstanding. They displayed their ability while performing in concerts, the Senior Play and Varsity Varieties. Each year many of the members complete in the Solo and En- semble Contest, bringing home many top hon- ors for their accomplishments. Both our orch- estra and band have reached a new peak in size and musicianship. Flynn, A. McCreary. Boosters Feed Hungry Fans Booster Club was organized in 1927 for the purpose ot increasing school spirit and uphold- ing and advancing the ideals of North Side. The ambitious Boosters' main occupation is selling refreshments to the hungry fans that flock to the concession stand at our games. At tournament time they take on the added job ot selling badges and shakers. As a reward tor their well-spent time and energy, Dick Marshall, Bill Phillips, and Larry Stebing received pins, while Sharon Flynn and Phyliss Gordon re- ceived guards. Hatt, spent many hours practicing tor the numerous activities which would be incom- plete without it. The band performed untirinqly at tootball and basketball qames, pep sessions, and concerts. This year the band appeared in tour concerts and two quest proqrams. Last tall, the Marching Redskins were presented the Sweepstakes trophy tor the best all around band, in their division, in the Marching Con- test. To climax the year, the band took a two- day concert tour throuqh southern lndiana.
