To create, maintain, and extend high standards of Christian character throughout the school and community, is the Hi-Y pledge. The club is a high school branch ot the Young Men's Christian Association, and is affiliated with the state and national Hi-Y. The club participates in an annual city wide drive to collect money to con- tribute to the World Service Drive. The club also carries on other drives to raise money for Hi-Y projects. The oiiicers serving HifY for the year were Dan Cunningham, presi- dent: Tom Pence, vice presidentg Dan Fullcerson, secretary: Dick Pence, treasurer, Bill Trulockg chapliny and Dave Myers, ser- geant-at-arms. This club is open to any qirl who wishes to join and it provides many activities for the members. The yearly proqram of activities in- cludes Y-Teen conferences, an after-game dance, the Mother-Daughter Senior farewell, the annual banquet and the Faculty Tea. Officers for the first semester were Stephana Houk, presidentg Mary Huth, vice presidentg and Kay Reqedanz, secretary-treasurer.
