Through perseverance, hard work and diligent study. you have mastered the knowledge and skills needed to perform as competent professionals. Along the way, you have learned to respect the rights of others and to understand your own responsibilities as a citizen. If you share these talents with others down through the years, I am sure that your future (and that of our Country) will be assured. It has been my pleasure to work with you over the past several months. I thank you for the opportunity to do so. MJA At first glance Mr. Anthony appears to be the typical School Superintendent: stern, demanding, sometimes severe. Underneath, however, lies a deep concern for the welfare and the future of every student. Despite insurmountable obstacles, Mr. Anthony was convinced that our school would open on September 8. When all others remained unconvinced, he persevered with a positive attitude and endless hardwork. It is with sincere thanks that we, the class of 1977, dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Michael J. Anthony, in appreciation for his dedica- tion and his faith in us. His determination has made it possible for us to be the first graduating class of North Shore Regional Vocational School. “Wooden Ships And Iron Men” ) fF] fh Principal’s Message 'T’o The Class Of 1977 You, the members of the Class of 1977, hold the distinction of being the first class to graduate from the North Shore Regional Vocational School. Although this first year of operation has presented us with some trying situations, we have, through your efforts and cooperation, succeeded in establishing a very fine school. My association with you has indeed been most pleasant. I wish you all great success in your chosen field of endeavor. Please remember that our doors are always open—I would more than enjoy the visit. oe rary vA V9 Cs SP e. amen nee renee Mr. Paul Woods Mrs. Elaine Whelihan Asst. to Superintendent Director Librarian Mrs. Sheila Walker Mr. Peter Mooney Nurse Guidance Counselor Mrs. Marie Kelly Secretary to the Superintendent Director Mrs. Rhonda Richards, Ms. Charlene Coults, Mrs. Susan Di Cenzo, Mrs. Diane Raymond, Miss Ellen Newman, Mrs. Marie Kelly.
