Arvon Shaw Arvon will always live in the memories of those who knew him as one of the cleanest, friendliest fellows they have ever known. He liked everyone and everyone liked him. His favorite sport was dancing. He went to every dance and took his two younger brothers, and always showed them good, clean fun. Arvon died at the age of eighteen, but accomplished more in his short stay here on the earth than most people do that live to be much older. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had a very strong testimony of the gospel. Arvon was not afraid to pass on to a greater and richer life in the hereafter, because he knew he had received all the benefits a person can while living on the earth. North Sevier will always remember Arvon Shaw as having one of the cleanest and best personalities the school has ever seen. L25-

Henry A. Dahlsrud We dedicate this book to Mr. Henry A. Dahlsrud, our beloved teacher, whose death on January ll brought sorrow to the entire student body and faculty. He taught us more than subiect matter, more than English and Mathematics, he taught us how to live, how to face life on earth, to face its struggles and strife. He always had time to talk with us, and by a bit of cheerful philosophy and a pleasant smile, our troubles would be lighter. He thought only of the best, worked for the best and expected the best. He was enthusiastic about our success. He had no time to criticize. His life was spent in unselfish service. He accomplished his task. He left the world better than he found it. We shall always remember him as a fine friend, a kind man, a real gentleman, and a willing worker. His life will remain an inspiration and his memory a benediction. -24.-
