March, 2 - - 4 ! Marching isn't as easy as it looks. It takes these enthusi- astic members of our band a great deal of time and effort to provide this type of half time entertainment. Spirit with a beat! will best describe our marching band. During W A the football season the participants produced vitality before and during the games. Other activities were the numerous concerts they gave for the benefit of the public. In the basketball season many of the members form the Pep Band and bring enjoyment - -ix to those attending the games. it f4l,uNG5 L Mr. Chinburg directs the band and he has indeed done a fine job thi s year! 'snr-EM . X The proper placement of the baton is a serious matter , between Doyle Frickey, drum major, and Mr. Chinburg. ' ie 'qw Loyal Republicans?
