Each year North members are placed in study with a topic to discussg this years' was The United Nations Under the guidance of Mrs. Patch, the members directed the Annu Book Fair, and sponsored the UNICEF Christmas Card and Calend Sale. They sponsored the U.N. Assembly held on October 12, 'wh North was honored to have Governor Hatifield speak. Throughout th year the members attended various conferences dealing with th problems confronting today's world. The students of North Sale International Relations League's success this year was the result of the leadership from the following people: Linda Swynn, historiang Terri Nielson, treasurerg Nicki Mosher, secretaryg Lark Hall, vice-presidentg and Nelson Ross, president. l become alert to these problems through IRL. A donut sale, picnic and a Pan-American week were' ample events to keep the Spaniards occupied during the busy year.
