A donut sale, picnic and a Pan-American week were' ample events to keep the Spaniards occupied during the busy year. Latin Club Q-if . The 1967 officers of Latin Club from left to right are Vice-President, Mary Holmesg President, Lynette Coffmang Treasurer, Janice Leeg I and Secretary, Camie Brown. Their skill in leadership led to a very profitable and enjoyable year for Latin Club. L T. - '52 The purpose of Latin Club is to delve into the origin of ,lang- uages, to understand and appreciate the culture and customs of the ancient Roman civilization, and to enjoy the company of fellow Latin students. Latin Club is composed of approximately 40 students. Their advisor is the willing, able, and pert Miss Roberts. . qi! ll? At their annual initiation all new members were required to go through different forms of expression. When the officers were satisfied with their physical or oratorical efforts, they were officially announced members of Latin Club. 1

Each year North members are placed in study with a topic to discussg this years' was The United Nations Under the guidance of Mrs. Patch, the members directed the Annu Book Fair, and sponsored the UNICEF Christmas Card and Calend Sale. They sponsored the U.N. Assembly held on October 12, 'wh North was honored to have Governor Hatifield speak. Throughout th year the members attended various conferences dealing with th problems confronting today's world. The students of North Sale International Relations League's success this year was the result of the leadership from the following people: Linda Swynn, historiang Terri Nielson, treasurerg Nicki Mosher, secretaryg Lark Hall, vice-presidentg and Nelson Ross, president. l become alert to these problems through IRL.
