Whether it's Geometry, Masonry or Industrial Arts, you've got to have an ANGLE ho went to great lengths to bring you new dimensions? The peo- ple who incorporated math into our daily lives. Take geometry students for example. To prove Angle A is the complement of Angle B, they used exponents, theorems, and postulates to simplify an otherwise brainw- raclsing problem. As teacher, Larry Thoma- son said, ln depth thinking and expanding the angle of perception have been quite apparent all year. ln briclslaying class, the fellows, who re- ferred to themselves as o talented fun loving, and in-need-of-a-vvomen group of guys , put to use Cwhether they were aware of it or notb those theorems that have been proven in geometry to build stable walls in square. They proceeded to lay the stepping stones to their futures in masonry . . . The industrial arts people did things a little differently, although they used angles too. With the help of their new instructor, Mr. Wood, they manipulated wood into inter esting and useful objects that make our daily lives easier, such as cabinets, tables and chairs. Veteran, and award-winning cabinet maker Ronnie Locklear said, 'Some of the guys in here are slack, but l 've mode all kihds of things. l 've probably saved a hundred dollars or so by buildng my own furniture.
