Mr. Crowder's Cross Country team's big- gest obstacle was lock of participation, Mr, Crowder was forced to recruit in the holls to fill his roster and be able to field a team, Anthony Britton led the boys' team, plac- ing a number of times in both dual meets and in the county and conference meets. Sandra Matthews led the girls, malsing all conference, the only North runner to re- ceived that distinction in the initiol season of Cross Country, We started slow, but came along well as the season progressed. l 'm very proud of our teams effort, said Mr. Crowder.
