Throughout the season fans enioyed the beautiful xiii--'Q K-Q, Q it i x'i We have only one way to go and that's up, were the Words ot Coach Bur- ton Barger at the beginning ot the i959 tootball season. Justitying the proohecy of their coach, the Cavaliers iumped to Htth place in the North Piedmont Confer- nevv electric scoreboard donated by the Spencer Jaycees. During halttime ot the initial game North's stadium was dedi- cated to the memory ot the late Dr. James C. Eagle, tormer chairman ot the North Rowan District school board.
