Most of the food for our party was donated by people 1n town. Each year 1n the sprxng we have a party where we award troph1es to the outstandmg boy and g1r1 um the hzgh school. The Boys Glee Club met to pract1ce one period a week Part of the time was spent on two part mus1c for rnale vozces and some tame spent on rehearsing parts of four part muszc for mmxed voxces Thls program was set up so that the members would have a chance to smg songs sultable to thexr ab1l1t1es also to prepare them for rehearsal m the mzxed chorus group The same procedure was followed during the one pe r1od a week allotted to the Girls Glee Club Three part muslc occup1ed the greater portion of the t1me but some preparatlon was made for the chorus penod After meetmg every Thursday for one perzod the m1xed chorus prov1ded a twenty murute program of Chrxstmas carols on Sunday evenmg, December 18 ln the shell m front of the Crawford County Chlldren s Home Patty Gary was accompanlst for us Byron Tupps acted as announcer and Rev Austm Shell gave a med1tat1on sultable to the Chrmstmas season The annual Pure O11 meetmg gave the groups a chance to perform Sklts, program The end of the year brought Baccalaureate and Commencement for which musxc from the mxxed groups was prepared MAGRITA KLASSEN JEAN MCCLARY Our thanks to Mrs Klassen for Mrs McC1ary 15 our school the fme art work she dzd on the txtle secretary and the wzfe of our coach pages of our annual They are all her She was our advisor for this annual own desxgn and work. and helped us a great deal.
