3m'A D 41511 GRADERS KEPT BUST Third and fourth graders often encounter more new experiences than most people realize. A very impor- tant thing for some was the beginning of instrumental music lessons in the fourth grade. The event that was probably the most unique for them was a visit to the new skeleton in the science room. A few had the pleasure of touching it. Written book reports for the third graders brought on new problems and experiences. But school was not all work and no play. Intramural basketball games kept the students occupied at noon hour. The youngsters also participated in hobby shows and an operetta. fLeftj Assisting the teachers with the special reading class and elementary audio-visual was Mrs. Phyllis Hesterman.
