Managing the various activities of the Pep Club were P P B Maretta Nofziger, V. Pres.5 Vivian Hess, Pres.5 Brenda HALLS A D GTM WITH SPIRIT Shibler, Sec.5 Gloria Short, Student Council. Posters and solid backing for the team were the main objectives of the Pep Club this year. Each week a committee was assigned to be in charge for that week. Everything from Snoopy to paper tigers was used to build spirit for the upcoming game. Senior Parents' Night was the high point of the Club's activities. The Club prepared a special program to honor the mothers and fathers of the senior athletes at the last home game. Corsages were presented to the mothers and the team beat Deshler to add the fin- ishing touches to a memorable evening and year. 30

VIC TORT After many hours of practice learning cheers and routines, the Reserve cheerleaders could be seen at every Reserve game urging the team on to victory. Attired in blue jumpers with white blouses, Pat Lohse Vickie I-Iesterman, Rita Rohrs, and Tanya Young en- couraged the Junior Varsity to Go, Fight, Win . They also held a cake raffle to help defray some of their cheerleading expenses. Their Jr. I-Iigh counterparts, Pam Gerken, Debby Bremer, Jane King, and Pat Norden, also spent con- siderable time and effort. They followed the Jr. High basketball team on the season's schedule and tournament trail.
