A grandiose new event was added to Ridgeville High School's activities this year with the appear- ance of Homecoming. Since the traditional High School Night was eliminated, the students needed a new event in which the Royal Court would be maintained. Such an event was Homecoming. The night's festivities were started off on the right foot, as the Falcon reserve team defeated McClure's junior varsity. Next, the Queen and her court were introduced. Linda Bostelman was crowned Homecoming Queen for 1966-67 by Super- intendent F. F. Hesterman. She was escorted to her throne by Co-captains Steve Meyer and Larry Wesche Preceding her were Cheryl Damman, Freshman At- tendant, escorted by Roger Center, Wanda Mahnke, Sophomore Attendant, escorted by Denny Meyer, Nancy Gerken, Junior Attendant, escorted by Randy Bremer, and Susan Rohrs, Senior Attendant, escorted by Ric Nelson. The Queen and her court had a joyous evening as the Falcons walloped McClure's varsity, 82-50. A dance sponsored by the Student Council in honor of the Queen was held after the game in the multipurpose room. Music was provided by the Constellations from Napoleon.
