A THLE TIC BA QUET These three boys are receiving awards for their outstanding job as managers for the Ridgeville High School Basketball Team. The awards are being presented by Coach Norris, head basket ball coach. The managers are Bill Cordes Dave Arnos, and Arthur Roehl. These four lovely girls, Anna Mae Von Deylen, Sue Otte, Vickie Hess, and Sharon Miller, serve as Varsity and Reserve Cheerleaders for the 1964-65 season. The Girls are chosen by a faculty and student committee . Pictured with Coach Gerken and Coach Norris are the boys who received trophies at the Athletic Banquet. They are Eugene Von De len Most Improved Player Awardg Y , john Toles, Most Valuable Player Award and Best Rebounder Awardg jerry Bostel- man, Best Foul Shooter Award.

The varsity cheerleaders cheered the team on to victory and kept them fighting even through de- feat. They led the Falcon fans in cheers for the re- serve team as Well as the varsity. They are Anna Mae Von Deylen, Sue Otte Vickie Hess, and Sharon Miller. VA RSITT CHEERLEADERS The Falcon, Ridgeville's mascot, led the team to many victories in the 1964- 65 season. The big bird not only rep- resented the team's victories, but also served as a symbol of the enthusiasm shown by the students during the entire basketball season. Coach Norris and Coach Gerken take part in one of the many skits that highlighted the pep sessions before every Falcon game. These pep sessions raised school spirit and let the team know the students were behind them all the Way. Compe- tition yells between classes came to be a part of every pep session, with each class yelling to win the title of the class with the most school spirit. uv Pep Sessions
