A QUICK “NOTE” We at the staff of the 1986 yearbook realize that memories are the largest part of senior year. We will always look back and recall the good times, the hard times, the triumphs and the disasters. We took this into consideration when looking for a theme. We had to find one thing that was common to all seniors, that tied us together, and that preserved the memories. After a great deal of thought, we decided to use music as our focal point. After all, music appeals to every- body, be it rock, rap, classical, country, pop, or new wave. Everyone has a favorite song; everybody sees part of his life reflected in the lyrics of a popular tune. Our memories are preserved in the melodies of today. Years from now, we will hear songs that will remind us of this year and our entire high school careers. Therefore, we base this yearbook on music, the songs of the seniors, and the rhythm of youth. 6
