'Q izfffi' N-I A 9- ,-' 'H' ii O IT REMA NS june 1953 with its warm sunlight beckoning us to take to the open road, with its blue waters of Quincy Bay inveigling us to wade with naked feet along the beach, with its festival of climbing red roses telling us to be done with indoor complaints, and with its Mane: enticing us to thumb the pages of happy memories, the satis- fying miracles of the wonderfulness of our senior year at North Quincy High - such is june 1955 to our classmates. But to us, the harried Mane! staff, what is june 1953? To us it is The Marzer in its literal translation: It remains. Our sanity after metamorphoses and deadlines - it remains! Our good nature after pictorial hubbubs and financial stresses - it remains! Our precious friendship, one with another, after minor disagreements and diplo- matic rearrangements - it remains! And The Mane: for 1955 as a memory book of a year's activities from dawn to dusk - it remains too!
