1 To create and malntann throughout the commumty hugh stand ards of Chrnstnan character 'l hus reads the purpose of Trl Hn Y Al though th1s organuzatnon may not recenve a great deal of fan fare they have done the school mnumerable services For example durmg this past year they co operated wnth the student councnl m campangnmg for a cleaner cafeterna Throughout the year at thenr varnous meetxngs at the Y they we had many mterestlng speakers besides many very educatnonal hlms Along wlth the more serious slde of Trl H1 Y IS coupled nts varlous recreatnonal programs The gnrls have engaged m splash parties dances One of the most enyoyable trnps the glrls took last year was to Newbury port to VISII Mr and Mrs Hardy Mrs Hardy used to teach here at North and Mr Hardy was the Trl H1 Y advlsor Thxs year the organlzatxon welcomed a new advnsor Robert Rear don Mr Reardon ns a very capable young man and well llked by all the glrls The faculty advisor here at North IS our own Mass McCoy The offncers who did a wonderful job durmg the past year are Claxre Gallagher President Mary Murray Vxce President Marlon Myers Secretary Elnzabeth Fntzgerald Treasurer . . ,, . . . 4 f Q W lf The Student Council is North s self governing service orgamza tion composed of twenty one represent their classmates In sometimes forgotten but do around to your homeroom to members elected the previous spring to the rush of school affairs the Council is you remember those people who came talk up and make the Community Fund Drive as big a success as ever? Remember the annual round table in which the social calendar was made the barn dance those ever present posters encouraging you to clean up the Cafeteria the primary and final elections?
