The geometry classes study the propositions, theorems, and principles ot plane geometry. The students apply these principles in work- ing problems. COMMON OR PROPER? The attributes ot nouns, com- mon and proper are debated by Miss Rose Mary McGinnis, Earl Johnson, and Melvin Crandell. Miss McGinnis is ex- plaining the next day's commercial English assignment to the boys. ONE A DAY. Miss Helen Christianson lists the food require- ments tor a day, on the blackboard. so that the home eco- nomics classes can study them. Donna Ellyson watches closely to see it she is eating the right kinds and correct amounis ot tood. PUSH THIS KEY. The ways and means ot operating an add- ing machine are explained by Miss Cleo Packer in book- keeping class. Beverly Carns and Lucille Husband listen caretully so that they will know how to use the adding ma- chine when they are bookkeepers. New members ot the Senior High School taculty this year are Miss Anne Shuman, Mrs. John Baker, Jr., Miss Althea Bruce, Mrs. Marion Kline, Miss Helen Christianson, Mrs. Margaret Tout, Miss Rose Mary McGinnis, Miss Exie White, Mrs. Ramona Sherman, Miss Helen Sutherland, Mrs. Nellie Lee Hoagland, and G. Allison Yost. Miss Alma Glover resigned her position as typ- ing teacher at the end ot the tourth six weeks to teach in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mrs. Veryl Cam- eron also resigned during the school year. Mrs. Sherman became the new typing teacher. Mrs. Came-ron's place was taken by Mrs. Hoagland. Mrs. Hoagland also tilted the vacancy lett by Miss Margaret Baker who resigned to be married. Miss Mc3innis took Mrs. Hoaglancl's place the second semester. Mr. Yost has been very active as a iunior class sponsor and has been in charge ot the visual edu- cation program. Miss White and Miss Sutherland took on the duties ot G. R. sponsors. Miss White and Miss McGinnis are also iunior class sponsors. Miss Bruce and Mrs. Kline were actively engaged in the work ot being Pep Club sponsors. I7
